About Me

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my little blog!  My name is Amandine.  I'm a University of Iowa alumni, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Voice, as well as a French minor.  Years later, I am now an unintentional stay at home mom, after my former place of employment was closed in January of 2009.  This happened a month before our second child was born.  Two kids, 19 months apart, and only one person working.  That was a very scary, and unsettling year for us!  Not only did we have a lot of adjustments to make, but I also had new power of attorney responsibilities that I was learning about... and definitely not enjoying.

Towards the end of '09, there was a “pull” that I could no longer ignore.  Within weeks of acknowledging that I needed to do something, opportunities for guidance began to show up.  After doing lots of inner work and reflection, I started to notice my “here and now”, and my focus set naturally on parents.  I see the dazed look in their eyes, the fog of parenting overwhelm.  That’s when my sense of Purpose began to take shape.

Since I first began this blog, I am now a certified coach in the Life Purpose Process.  I'm a Personal Development coach, assisting others to find their "pull", become more clear on their goals, dreams, and most importantly I assist those who are ready to start living their life in a way that is fun, fulfilling, and joyous.

The wonderful thing about my journey is that it will always be shifting, always something new and interesting around the corner.  This blog is my life's happenings, what I've learned from my mistakes, my growth, my journey.  This is by no means a place where I tell you what to think, believe, do!  If you find some tidbits that you can use in your own life, awesome!  If not, that's fine too.  I am sharing from a place of love, compassion, and honesty.

Peace and blessings!
